this year's recipients of the "COUGAR CHARACTER COUNTS AWARD". This
is the 6th year this award has been presented at VWMS. This is an
award recognizing young people of outstanding character. These
students were chosen by the 8th grade Dynasty & Legacy Teams and the
Forte team. Forte Team - Alyssa Bowen & Eli Alvarez.

Archie Griffin-Ohio High School Athletic Association Sportsmanship Award.
This award recognizes one boy and one girl, who, through their actions and
deeds exemplify sportsmanship and leadership in and around school. We are
pleased to announce that Julian Salinas and Karlyn Koontz are this years
recipients of the Archie Griffin Award.

caption: The Academic Scholar Award recognizes 8th grade students with
the highest academic achievement at VWMS. The distinction of the Academic
Scholar Award is that a student must have earned straight A's through their
entire middle school experience to receive the award. Andrew Dingle, Sydney
