LUGINBILL

Kenneth Leroy Luginbill, 83, of Willshire, died at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 1, 2010, at Van Wert County Hospital in Van Wert.

He was born February 26, 1927, in Adams County, Ind., the son of the late Roy and Goldie (Bollenbacher) Luginbill. On February 22, 1958, he married Clara Louise (Schott) Luginbill, who preceded him in death on October 8, 2002.

Survivors include two sons, Jeff (Sara) Luginbill of Willshire and Scott (Jill) Luginbill of Rockford; a daughter, Ruth (Charles) Whitten of Willshire; two brothers, Vern Luginbill of Decatur, Ind., and Dean (Helen) Luginbill of Rockford; three sisters, Leona Amburgy of Willshire, Norma Jean (Charles) Fuson of Celina and Mary Luginbill of Chattanooga; and six grandchildren.

A son, Kenneth Luginbill Jr., also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 6, at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Rockford, with Pastor Catherine Castello officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul’s UCC Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Monday, April 5, and an hour prior to services at the church.
