PHILLIPS
C. Blanche Phillips, 93, of Van Wert, died at 12:45 a.m. Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
She was born February 19, 1917, in Ohio City, the daughter of the late Halder B. and Roxie M. (Clouse) Woods. She first married Oswald F. Brown, who died March 16, 1966; she also married John Pickering, who died December December 1956. She then married Marian J. Phillips, who preceded her in death on February 17, 1968.
Survivors include a daughter, Roxie L. (Leslie L. Sr.) Brown of Van Wert; four sisters, Luella McHugh of Ohio City, Mary Tindall of Reno, Nev., Evelyn Kirchenbauer of Coldwater and Ilo Ebright of Celina; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; eight stepchildren; one stepgreat-grandchild; three stepgreat-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Four brothers, William Woods, Elmer T. Woods, Halder E. Woods and Charlie J. Woods, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 17, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Pastor W. Clark Williman and the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery in Ridge Township, Van Wert County.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Friday, April 16, at the funeral home, where memorial services will be held by American Legion Auxiliary Unit 178, and the College of Regents of Women of the Moose, Chapter, both of Van Wert, starting at 7 that evening.
Preferred memorials: Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.

RAGER
Dana R. Rager, 57, of Ohio City, died early Wednesday morning, April 14, 2010, at his residence.
He was born July 3, 1952, the son of the late Ervin L. Rager and Dortha V. (Berryman) Rager.
Survivors include three children, Dana (Amanda) Rager of St. Marys, Hope Rager of Ohio City and Nicole (Brad) Wannemacher of Hilliard; and three grandchildren.
A daughter, Anita Lynn Rager, also preceded him in death.
A private family graveside funeral service will be held at Middle Creek Cemetery in Grover Hill, with the Rev. Dr. Tim Burden officiating.
There will be no calling hours.

MOSIER
Nancy M. Mosier, 83, of Paulding, died Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at the County Inn Enhanced Living Center, where she was a resident.
She was born January 13, 1927, in Oak Hill, the daughter of the late John and Dovie (Scarberry) Craft. On January 10, 1948, she married Bice E. Mosier, who survives.
Other survivors include three daughters, Jan (Byron) Rasey of Antwerp, Victoria (Joseph) Kemerer of Hicksville and Susan Gladieux of Perrysburg; two sons, John (Teresa) Mosier of Antwerp and Steven (Kathy) Mosier of Ludington, Mich.; a sister, Ruby Nern of Antwerp; two brothers, Tom (Louise) Craft of Payne and Roger (Karen) Craft of Texas; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Three sisters, Mildred Fulk, Lessie McCain and Mabel Howard; and six brothers, Lowell, Dewey, Ben and Ray Craft and two brothers in infancy, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 17, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding. Burial will be in Blue Creek Cemetery near Haviland.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 16, and an hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.
Preferred memorials: Alzheimer’s Association, the Country Inn Enhanced Living Center Activity Fund, the Friedreich’s Ataxia Research Alliance or the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
