TROBAUGH

Donna J. Trobaugh, 82, of Van Wert, died at 2:55 a.m. Monday, April 19, 2010, at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born September 30, 1927, in Plymouth, Mich., the daughter of the late Homer N. and Greta E. (Willett) Williams. She married William T. Trobaugh Jr., who preceded her in death on October 13, 2001.

Survivors include three children, Robert D. Trobaugh of Fort Wayne, Ind., William T. (Catherine) Trobaugh of Marble, N.C., and Gretta (Kevin) Prichard of Ohio City; five brothers; five sisters; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 24, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Jim Burns officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery near Middle Point.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 23, at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials: Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center-Community Health Professionals or Liberty Baptist Church in Van Wert.

EAST

Joanna Kay East, 50, of Van Wert, died at 2 p.m. Monday, April 19, 2010, in the emergency room of Van Wert County Hospital in Van Wert.

She was born August 29, 1959, in Van Wert County, the daughter of Helen J. (Deminte) Blanke, who survives in Van Wert, and the late Charles D. Blanke. On September 2, 1978, she married Charles D. East, who survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include a daughter, Tracy East of Van Wert; one brother, Dennis (Nancy) Blanke of Van Wert; and a sister, Laura Blanke of Van Wert.

A sister, Sandra Blanke, also preceded her in death.

 A committal service will be conducted in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ohio City.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday, April 23, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert.

Preferred memorials: American Cancer Society.
