THATCHER
Pauline F. Thatcher, 79, of Van Wert, died at
12:48 p.m. Thursday, April 22, 2010, at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
She was born April 15, 1931, in Van Wert County, the daughter of the late Thurman and Leah (Roop) Thatcher.
Miss Thatcher worked at Federal-Mogul Corporation in Van Wert for more than 40 years and was a member the Silver Seals Club. She was a member of First United Brethren in Christ Church in Van Wert.
Survivors include a sister, Ruby Giessler of Van Wert; nine nieces and nephews, Susan (Don) Mosier, Shelly (Shawn) Dunno, Nick Thatcher, Kristi Thatcher, Deborah (Armando) Alba, Vicky Rayer, Randy (Paula) Thatcher, Jamie (Rachel) Thatcher and Abby Thatcher; and several great-nieces and nephews.
Four brothers, Richard, Donald, Larry and Garry Thatcher, and a nephew, Troy Thatcher, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 25, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Dr. Jody Harr and Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ohio City.
The family will receive friends from 3-8 p.m. Saturday, April 24, at the funeral home.
