GLEN ALLEN RIGGENBACH

Glen Allen Riggenbach, 84, of Paulding, died Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Van Wert.

He was born February 21, 1926, in Latty, the son of the late Elmer and Sadie (Stoller) Riggenbach. On May 24, 1947, he married Maxine B. Tope, who preceded him in death on April 27, 2001.

Survivors include a son, Tim Riggenbach of Van Wert; a brother, Clarence Riggenbach of Venice, Fla.; four sisters, Florence Treece of Florence, Ala., Lila Miller of Port Charlotte, Fla., and Carol Tarr and Lorena Steffen, both of Bluffton, Ind.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A daughter, Sally Ann Riggenbach; six brothers, Elmer Jr., Everett, Mervin, Ersel, Vern and Orville (in infancy) Riggenbach; and four sisters, Eleanor Tope, Arlene Carnahan, Melvine Zink and Myrna Moser.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, May 3, at Paulding Church of Christ, with the Rev. Jerry Riggenbach officiating. Burial will be in Blue Creek Cemetery near Haviland, with graveside military rites performed by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 587 of Paulding.

The family will receive friends from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, May 2, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding and an hour prior to services Monday at the church.
