POLLOCK
Patricia J. Pollock, 80, of Lakeview and formerly of Van Wert, died Saturday, April 3, 2010, in Frostproof, Fla.
She was born October 28, 1929, in Van Wert, the
daug
hter
of the late Fredrick and Esther (Kriegel) Glossett. On July 10, 1948, she
married Murlin J. “Mike” Pollock, who survives in Lakeview.
Mrs. Pollock was a former deputy clerk and administrator for Van Wert County Common Pleas Court. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Van Wert, the Van Wert Women’s Republican Club, a former member of the Van Wert Chapter of Eastern Star, and a former co-chair of the Van Wert County Republican Party.
In addition to her husband, survivors include four children, Michael (Theresa) Pollock of Lakeview, Mark (Susan) Pollock of Plain City, Troy Pollock of Columbus, and Holli (Gary) Williams of Monroeville, Ind.; a brother, Richard (Marilyn) Glossett of New Haven, Ind.; eight children; and four great-grandchildren.
A sister, who died in infancy, and one grandchild, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 9, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Philip Zielinski officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery near Middle Point.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 8, at the funeral home.

KRUGH
Bette J. Krugh, 80, of Van Wert, affectionately known as “Oohy” to her two special great-grandchildren, Caleb and Natalie, died at 8 a.m. Saturday, April 3, 2010, at her residence.
She was born June 14, 1929, in Landeck, the daughter of the late Joseph J. and Clara (Arnold) Vaske. She married Byron D. (Barney) Krugh, who survives in Van Wert.
Mrs. Krugh was a homemaker who took pride in her home and family. The loves of her life were her family, her faith and her many friends. She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Van Wert and its Rosary Altar Society.
Survivors include a daughter, Cathy (Woody) Fetzer of Van Wert; one son, Dean (Sherry) Krugh of Van Wert; a brother, Ralph (Mary Ann) Vaske of Ohio City; seven grandchildren, Brandon (Coral) Fetzer, Jason Krugh, Jenny (Sean) Kennedy, Joe (Joy) Krugh, Joshua (Kari) Krugh, and Amanda and Kristin Krugh, all of Van Wert; 10 great-grandchildren, Caleb and Natalie Fetzer, Allison, Drew and Emma Kennedy, Devin Rabe, and Hannah, Jordan, Cameron, and Landin Krugh; several stepgreat-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A son, Michael Krugh; four sisters, Frances Baird, Evelyn Coffelt, Juanita Cira and Elsie Vaske; and three brothers, Raymond, Larry and Joseph Vaske, also preceded her in death.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 7, at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Van Wert, with Fathers Charles Obinwa and Mike Zacharias officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 6, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, where the Rosary will be recited at 8 that evening.
Preferred memorials: St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic School in Van Wert.
