He
was born July 16, 1930, in Wichita, Kan., the son of the late Benjamin and Edith
Marie (Dycus) Skinner. On April 1, 1950, he married Marian Linn (Kelley)
Skinner, who preceded him in death on January 5, 1992.
SKINNER
James A. Skinner, 79, of Ohio City, died at 2:24 p.m. Tuesday, August 11, 2009, at Van Wert Manor nursing home in Van Wert.
He

Marie (Dycus) Skinner. On April 1, 1950, he married Marian Linn (Kelley)
Skinner, who preceded him in death on January 5, 1992.
Survivors include a daughter, Shaune M. Skinner of of Columbus; one son, Chris A. (Cindy) Skinner of Van Wert; a brother, Skip (Sharon) Skinner of Grenada Hill, Calif.; and one sister, Patti Chambre of Colorado Springs, Colo.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, August 14, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ohio City.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, August 13, at the funeral home.
Preferred memorials: Columbus Audubon Society or Special Olympics.
