CORSO

Margaret A. Corso, 80, of Ohio City, died at 5:52 a.m. Thursday, August 13, 2009, at Van Wert Manor nursing home in Van Wert.

She was born May 30, 1929, in Defiance, the daughter of the late Arthur J. and Myrtle (Buckelman) Smith.

Survivors include two children, Russell B. Kennedy of Van Wert and Rose Deck of Orlando, Fla.; two sisters, Mary Patton and Jean Ordway, both of Defiance; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A son, Jeffery Kennedy, and one grandchild also preceded her in death.

Private family services will be held. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Van Wert.

There will be no visitation.

Preferred memorials: St. John’s Lutheran Church in Ohio City.

Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert handled funeral arrangements.
