BOLEY

Barbara A. Boley, 70, of Van Wert, died at 8:38 a.m. Monday, August 17, 2009, at Community Health Professionals’ Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born January 12, 1939, in Van Wert, the daughter of the late Rolland Blanke Sr. and Lillian (Ault) Blanke. On June 9, 1957, she married Vernon O. Boley, who preceded her in death on March 25, 2009.

Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Sharon Blanke of Canton and Helen Blanke of Van Wert, and many nieces and nephews.

Two brothers, Rolland Blanke Jr. and Charles Blanke; and a sister, Margaret Yoh, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 20, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Steve Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

The family will receive friends from noon-2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials: First Baptist Church in Van Wert or Gideons International.
