SCHULT

Ruth A. Schult, 103, of Van Wert, died at 9:31 a.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2009, at Va Wert County Hospital in Van Wert.

She was born September 9, 1906, in Fort Jennings, the daughter of the late Charles and Alida (Jamison) Raabe. On June 4, 1931, she married August W. “Gus” Schult, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include a daughter, Edith (Calvin) DeGolyer of Castline, N.Y.; one daughter-in-law, Anita Raabe of Shalimar, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Two son, Charles and Ralph Raabe; six brothers; and five sisters, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at a later date.

There will be no visitation.

Preferred memorials: Community Health Professionals or St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Van Wert.

SUEVER

Jeanine A. Suever, 63, of Delphos, died early in the morning on Tuesday, December 22, 2009, at her residence.

She was born September 15, 1946, in Hammond, Ind., the daughter of the late Richard Ray and Lucille (King) Bok. On October 9, 1971, she married Richard Suever, who survives in Delphos.

Other survivors include two brothers, Hiram (Virginia) Bok of Cairo and Lowell (Marilyn) Bok of Botkins, and four sisters, Pauline Farkas of Gary, Ind., Doris Rae Altstaetter of Cairo, Marilyn Edwards of Lima and LaVonne (Robert) Boose of Haskins.

A daughter, Andrea “Renee” Suever, and one sister, Margaret Ardilla Bok, also preceded her in death.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, December 28, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos, with Father Jacob Gordon officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Delphos.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, December 27, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, where a parish wake will be held at 7:30 that evening.
