WALTER

Colleen J. Walter, 79, of Celina, died at 12:02 a.m. Saturday, December 5, 2009, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.

She was born January 9, 1930, in Paulding County, the daughter of the late O.B. and Viola (Lee) Gillette. On February 20, 1949, she married Russell M. “Max” Walter, who preceded her in death on June 20, 1991.

Survivors include two daughters, Marla (Charles) Overman of Rockford and Holly (Jerry) Myers of Haviland; and two grandsons.

A brother, Ralph Gillette; and two sisters, Geraldine Muzzillo and Bonnie McGowen, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 9, at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina, with the Rev. Don Ricard officiating. Burial will be in Mercer Memory Gardens in Celina.

The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 8, at the funeral home.
