HEATON

Shelia L. Heaton, 54, of Paulding and formerly of Pennville, Ind., died Wednesday, February 10, 2010, at Paulding County Hospital in Paulding.

She was born December 3, 1955, in Paulding County, the daughter of Vaughn Sanderson and the late Florence (Funk) Sanderson. In 1994, she married Greg Heaton, who preceded her in death in 2009.

In addition to her father, survivors include two sons, Joel Sanderson of Portland, Ind., and Darrin (Carly) Sanderson of Bryant, Ind.; two sisters, Jacquie (Jay) Covill of Renssalaer, Ind., and Dale (Ron) Bendele of Paulding; three brothers, Dewey (Kathy) Sanderson and Ron Sanderson, both of Paulding, and Vern (Tonya) Sanderson of New Haven, Ind.; a half-brother, Gene (Tracy) Ruger of Van Wert; and a granddaughter.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 20, at Rose Hill Church of God in Paulding. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery in Latty Township, Paulding County.

The family will receive friends an hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
