FENNIG
Mark A. Fennig, 58, of Van Wert, died at 2:27
p.m. Sunday, February 21, 2010, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in
St. Marys.
He was born June 5, 1951, in Celina, the son of Donald E. Fennig, who survives in Van Wert, and the late Marilyn M. (Miller) Fennig.
Mr. Fennig worked at Celina Aluminum Precision Technology in Celina for more than 10 years. He was a member of the Van Wert County Outdoorsman Club, Moose Lodge 1473 in Celina, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1291 in Celina, and the National Rifle Association.
In addition to his father, survivors include a brother, Stephen Fennig of Van Wert; three sisters, Sharon Franklin of Walton, Ky., Leslie (Steven Hughes) Fennig of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Stephanie (Michael Ludwig) Fennig of Convoy.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, February 26, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Van Wert, with the Rev. Will Haggis officiating. Private family burial will take place at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in Wabash, Ohio.
The family will receive friends from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, February 25, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert and an hour prior to services Friday at the church.

TICKLE
Paul Regis Tickle, 92, of Belleview, Fla., and formerly of Ohio City, died at 8:40 p.m. Sunday, February 21, 2010, at the Laurels of Shane Hill in Rockford.
He was born October 7, 1917, in Liberty Township, Van Wert County, the son of the late Jesse Clyde and Josephine (Fryer) Tickle. On November 22, 1940, he married Treva Mae (Sidle) Tickle, who preceded him in death on September 25, 1973. On May 1, 1984, he married Betty E. Renz, who preceded him in death on August 3, 1997.
Survivors include a son, Larry (Sally) Tickle of Ohio City; one daughter, Janet (James) Chick of Ohio City and Sun City, Fla.; three grandchildren; two great-grandson; and three great-granddaughters.
A brother, Leroy Brooks Tickle; four sisters, Thelma Mae Kline, Doris Jeannette Krugh, Mary Eleanor Prichard and Clara Davis; and a half-sister, Ormal Russel, also preceded him in death.
A graveside memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ohio City.
There will be no visitation.
Preferred memorials: Ohio City United Methodist Church, Olive Branch Church of God in Rockford or State of the Heart Hospice in Coldwater.

GRACE
Myrna Gene Grace, 86, of Lima, died at 3:10 p.m. Sunday, February 21, 2010, at Lima Memorial Hospital.
She was born June 13, 1923, in Allen County, the daughter of the late Dorr E. and Grace L. (Fritz) Woodworth. On November 20, 1943, she married Charles E. “Bud” Grace Jr., who preceded her in death in 1988.
Survivors include two sons, Dwane Grace of Lima and Kevin (Kathleen) Grace of Loveland; a daughter, Tamara Finch of Lima; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A brother, Arlo Woodworth, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 25, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, with the Rev. Bill Cronk officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Delphos.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 24, at the funeral home.
Preferred memorials: Allen County Humane Society or Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
GRANT
Helen Grant of Palmetto, Fla., died Sunday, February 21, 2010.
She was born April 25, 1924, in Putnam County. She married Lester Grant, who preceded her in death in 2002.
Survivors include two sons, James (Karen) Grant, formerly of Van Wert and now of Palmetto, Fla., and Fremont, Ind., and Steven (Nancy) Grant of Continental; a brother, Robert (Patricia) Wollam of Continenta; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 5, in Tropic Isles Auditorium in Palmetto, Fla.
A memorial service will be held in Continental at a later date.
There will be no visitation.
