RASE
Ronald Kent Rase, 63, of Sun City Center, Fla., died Friday, February 26, 2010, in Sun City Center.
He was born December 5, 1946, in Van Wert, the son of the late Ronald Eugene and Anna Kathryn (Baer) Rase. On August 9, 1969, he married Beth Ann (Beldon) Rase, who survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Ryan (Jamie) Rase of Troutman, N.C., and Kyle Rase of Bowling Green; three sisters, Karen (Howard) Folty of Lima, and Connie (Gary) Moser and Darlene (Jeff) Myers, both of Convoy; three grandchildren; and 13 nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 6, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Convoy, with Pastor Michael Saylor officiating. Burial will follow later in Evangelical Protestant Cemetery in Harrison Township.
The family will receive friends from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 5, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, and an hour prior to services Saturday at the church.

FOUST
Alice P. Foust, 84, of Antwerp, died at 6:10 p.m. Friday, February 26, 2010, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne, Ind.
She was born March 21, 1925, in Jackson Township, Paulding County, the daughter of the late Paul B. and Ruth L. (Phillips) Holtsberry. On September 19, 1941, she married Orlando F. Foust, who preceded her in death on November 29, 2005.
Survivors include two daughters, Anita (Ray) Friend of Antwerp and Cathy (John) Hess of rural Cecil; two sons, Terry (Janet) Foust and Steven (Elaine) Foust, both of Antwerp; three sisters, Ramona Fillman of Paulding, Clara Marie Moden of Cecil and Ruth Elaine Underwood of Van Wert; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
A brother, Paul D. Holtsberry, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 3, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding, with Mrs. Foust’s son-in-law, John Hess, officiating. Burial will be in Maumee Cemetery in Antwerp.
The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 2, and an hour prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home.
