son of the late Earl C. and Fredrica (Schmidt) Reish. On June 30, 1946, he
married Betty Jean
(Rowland) Reish, who preceded him in death on July 18, 2006.
REISH
Paul “Gene” Reish, 85, of Rockford, died at 11:56 p.m. Monday, January 11, 2010, at The Laurels of Shane Hill in Rockford.
He was
born July 11, 1924, in Darke County, the
son of the late Earl C. and Fredrica (Schmidt) Reish. On June 30, 1946, he
married Betty Jean
(Rowland) Reish, who preceded him in death on July 18, 2006.
Survivors include a daughter, Pam (Ken) Meyer of Rockford; one sister-in-law, Marge Reish of Sidney; five granddaughters; four great-grandsons; and a great-great-grandson.
Two sons, Denny and Doug Reish; a brother, Earl Reish Jr.; and two sisters, Mary Armor and twin sister Imogene Williams, also preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, January 15, at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford, with Pastor Marvin Schwartz officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Rockford.
The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, January 14, and an hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home.
