NOONAN

Mildred E. Noonan, 85, of Delphos, died at 8:43 p.m. Tuesday, January 19, 2010, at Vancrest Health Care Center of Delphos.

She was born December 28, 1924, in Delphos, the daughter of the late Syl G. and Luella M. (Kehres) Grothouse. She married Louis E. Noonan, who preceded her in death on November 26, 1964.

Survivors include two sons, Joe P. (Cheryl) Noonan of Houston, Texas, and David M. (Kelly) Noonan of Cincinnati; a brother, Don (Frances) Grothouse of Delphos; one sister, Alene Grothouse of Delphos; and eight grandchildren.

A sister, Doris Klausing, and a brother-in-law, Ralph Klausing, also preceded her in death.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, January 23, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos, with Father Melvin Verhoff officiating. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery in Delphos.

The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Friday, January 22, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, where a parish wake will be held at 7:30 that evening.
