WAGONROD
Dorothy K. Wagonrod, 87, of Van Wert, died at 8:10 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2010, at Van Wert Manor.
She was born July 21, 1922, in Lewisburg, the daughter of the late Clarence and Nellie (Supinger) Edsall. On February 7, 1942, she married Richard A. Wagonrod, who preceded her in death on February 17, 1989.
Mrs. Wagonrod retired from the Van Wert Manufacturing Company after 30 years of service and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Van Wert and a 1940 graduate of Van Wert High School.
Survivors include four sons, Richard A. (Bonnie) Wagonrod Jr. of Elida, Ronald D. (Carol) Wagonrod of Chicago, Ill., Gary R. (Eldonna) Wagonrod of Ohio City and Dennis A. (Karen) Wagonrod of Van Wert; a brother, Phillip Edsall of Dickinson, N.D.; seven grandchildren, Andrea Callaghan of Dallas, Texas, Aaron Wagonrod of Columbus, Ronald Wagonrod Jr. of Chicago, Tammy Williamson of Lyons, Mich., Amy Limbean of Riverton, Utah, Angie Curtis of Huntsville, and Kathryn Wagonrod of Capital University in Columbus; two stepgrandchildren, Melissa Lester of Columbus and Ryan Prine of Delphos; 11 great-grandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
A grandson, Christian Gurtner; one brother, Robert Edsall; and a sister, Violet Thomas, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, January 30, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. William C. Haggis II officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Friday, January 29, and an hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.

KIMBEL
Mary Jane Kimbel, 81, of Fort Wayne, Ind., and formerly of Van Wert, died at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2010, at Coventry Meadows Nursing Home in Fort Wayne.
She was born May 5, 1928, in Franklin, the daughter of the late Harry and Nellie (McClain) Dixon. On January 29, 1949, she married Kenneth LeRoy Kimbel, who preceded her in death on January 27, 1988.
Survivors include three children, Edward (Deb) Kimbel of Ossian, Ind., Kirk (Avis) Kimbel of Lincolnshire, Ill., and Vickie (Pat) Lineback of Fort Wayne; a brother, James (Mary) Dixon of Springfield; one sister, Gertrude Rowland of Van Wert; and five grandchildren.
A brother, Harry Dixon, and two sisters, Joan Gibson and Margaret Kline, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, February 6, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home in Van Wert.
The family will receive friends from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, January 31, at the funeral home.

CRUTCHFIELD
Alice M. Crutchfield, 85, of Latty, died Tuesday, January 26, 2010, at her residence.
She was born March 28, 1928, in Paulding County, the daughter of the late James C. and Lula (Vena) Goings. On July 21, 1952, she married Ernest C. Crutchfield Sr., who preceded her in death.
Survivors include six daughters, Barbara (Earnest) Eubanks of Dillsburg, Pa., Roberta Hardman of Paulding, Patricia (Tyrone) Ingol of Lima, Mary Alice Crutchfield of Fort Wayne, Ind., Margaret Ann Crutchfield of Latty, and Allison Smith of Payne; three sons, Ernest Crutchfield of Latty, Albert (Darlene) Crutchfield of Fort Wayne and Patrick Crutchfield of Paulding; a brother, Richard Goings of Paulding; 18 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A son, James Crutchfield; six brothers, Cecil, Leo, Howard, Roy, Ray and Robert Goings; a sister, Evaline Goings; and an infant grandson, also preceded her in death.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, January 31, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Antwerp. A private burial in Middle Creek Cemetery in Grover Hill will take place at a later date.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Saturday, January 30, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding.
