BEBOUT

Karen A. Bebout, 54, of Van Wert, died at 1:35 a.m. Wednesday, January 6, 2010, in Van Wert after an extended illness.

She was born May 6, 1955, in Paulding, the daughter of the late John F. “Finney” and Blanche M. “Mamie” (Nordhaus) Dickinson. On October 10, 1975, she married David J. Bebout, who survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include two brothers, Lou (Rose Ann) Dickinson and Mark (Donna) Dickinson, both of Van Wert; a sister, Anne (Eric) Aldrich of Van Wert; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 9, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with Father Mike Zacharias officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

The family will receive friends from 3-8 p.m. Friday, January 8, at the funeral home.

KINNEY

Rev. Robert R. Kinney, 98, of Van Wert, died at 5:05 p.m. Wednesday, January 6, 2010, at Van Wert County Hospital in Van Wert.

He was born December 12, 1911, in Broughton, the son of the late Edwin Martin and Amanda Veshti (Upp) Kinney. He first married Edith Josephine (Kempher) Kinney, who died in 1969; he then married Helen (Metzger) Kinney, who preceded him in death in 2006.

Survivors include four children, Barbara (Robert) Wolfrum of Van Wert, Anita (Roger) Webb of Springdale, Ariz., Bonnie (Ray) Barger of Bluffton, Ind., and Linda (Toby) Thomas of Ohio City; a daughter-in-law, Kay Kinney of Wauseon; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

A son, Roger Kinney; one brother, Ward Kinney; two sisters, Glenna Kinney and Helen Mees; and a grandchild, also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 11, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Sherman Cemetery in Charloe.

The family will receive friends from 1-6 p.m. Sunday, January 10, at the funeral home.
