MARINO

Anthony J. Marino, 84, of Maple Heights, beloved husband of Roseann (nee Napoli); loving father of Mary Jo (John) Wilhelm and Joseph (Alison) Marino; loving “Grandpa T” of Matthew, Betsy, Allegra and Nino; dear brother-in-law of Carm Beadle and Lu and Willie Tamerlano; dear uncle, cousin and friend of many, died Friday evening, January 8, 2010.

Tony was a member of Maple Heights Catholic Club, Sirna Gold League and was a U.S. Army veteran serving in World War II.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 16, at St. Rita Catholic Church, 32820 Baldwin Road in Solon. Burial will be in Knollwood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, January 15, at Ferfolia Funeral Home, 5386 Lee Road (near Broadway) in Maple Heights.

Preferred memorials: United Way of Van Wert County.

 

CLAY

Larry Charles Clay, 62, of Rockford and formerly of Perrysburg, died at 4:05 a.m. Friday, January 8, 2010, at James Cancer Center in Columbus.

He was born December 10, 1947, in Celina, the son of the late Robert Wayne Clay and Vivian Ruth Frysinger. On December 31, 1994, he married Sandra (Ross) Clay, who survives.

Other survivors include three sons, Brian (Robin) Clay of Van Wert, Brent Clay of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Derek Clay of Grover Hill; a stepson, Kerry (Barb) Kuether of Minster; two stepdaughters, Kellie (Marty) Romer of Greencastle, Ind., and Stephanie Foreman of Celina; one brother, Robert (Vicki) Clay Jr. of Grabill, Ind.; a sister, LuAnn (Kim) Sigler of Rockford; two grandchildren; and seven stepgrandchildren.

Memorial services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Saturday, January 16, at Rockford United Methodist Church, with Pastor Chip Steffy officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1-4 p.m. Saturday at the church.
