RUSSELL HEATH HYITT

Russell Heath “Rusty” Hyitt, 28, of Van Wert, died at 2:30 a.m. Saturday, July 10, 2010, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.

He was born November 15, 1981, in Van Wert, the son of Jim and Sharon (Cochran) Hyitt, who survive in Convoy. On September 11, 2004, he married Amy J. (Evans) Hyitt, who survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include his grandmother, Hazel Cochran of Spencerville; two daughters, Allyson Evans and Marissa Miller, both at home; a son, Ayden Hyitt, at home; one brother, James M. Hyitt of Van Wert; his mother-in-law, Brenda (Gary) Berres of Delphos; his father-in-law, Robert Evans of Van Wert; his grandparents-in-law, Morris and Louise Perry, Carl and Beverly Evans, all of Van Wert, and George and Marilyn Berres of Delphos; two sisters-in-law, Julie (Chad) DuCheney of Van Wert and Angie (Matt) Boaz of Westchester; three nephews; a niece; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Grandparents Byron Cochran and James E. and Mary Sue Hyitt also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 14, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Pastor Tim Fraser officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Convoy.

The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, at the funeral home.
