WAVA JEAN COLLEY
Wava Jean Colley, 47, of Paulding, died Monday, July 12, 2010, at her residence after a long battle with cancer.
She was born September 26, 1962, in Paulding, the daughter of Paul and Margie (Funkhouser) Hill, both of whom survive in Paulding. On November 28, 1980, she married John Colley, who also survives in Paulding.
Other survivors include three daughters, Jaclyn, Samantha and Kelly Colley, all of Paulding; her grandmother, Thelma Hill of Paulding; and four sisters, Brenda (Jerry) Smith and Kim (Ron) Garrity, both of Paulding, Terri (John) Coulon of Archbold and Laurie Hill of Hamilton, Ind.
Her grandparents, Waveland Hill and Wendell and Eva Funkhouser, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, July 16, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding, with the Rev. Ben Lowell officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery in Paulding.
The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, July 15, at an hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home.
Preferred memorials: Paulding Area Visiting Nurses and Hospice or Community Health Professionals’ Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.

FAE B. THOMAS
Fae B. Thomas, 86, of Van Wert and formerly of Grover Hill, died Monday, July 12, 2010, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Van Wert.
She was born June 15, 1924, in Cloverdale, the daughter of the late Clarence Ray and Flossie Jane (Shirey) Miller. On October 12, 1944, she married John E. Thomas, who preceded her in death on June 27, 1991.
Survivors include two daughters, Darlene Roth of Rockford and Jane (John) Gudakunst of Paulding; a brother, John (Adrie) Miller of Pandora; two sisters, Ruth Korte of Lima and Jessie Morris of Pandora; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
A brother, Clarence Miller, and two sisters, Jean and Velma Miller, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 15, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding, with the Rev. Paul Bunnell officiating. Burial will be in Middle Creek Cemetery in Grover Hill.
The family will receive friends from 3:30-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, and an hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home.
