LINDA J. RADER
Linda J. Rader, 61, of rural Van Wert, died at 3:10 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
She was born March 25, 1949, in Van Wert County, the daughter of the late Roy B. and Thelma Loretta (Barnhart) Rader.
Survivors include a sister, Carol (David) Blair of Ohio City; two nieces; and a nephew.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 17, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Tom Steensma officiating.
The family will receive friends from 9-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Preferred memorials: American Diabetes Association.

PAUL H. BIDLACK
Paul H. Bidlack, 78, of Grover Hill, died at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at his residence.
He was born April 23, 1932, in Putnam County, the
son of the late Wesley and
Dottie
(Winchester) Bidlack. On July 27, 1952, he married Naomi R. (Wisher) Bidlack,
who survives at the residence.
Other survivors include two sons, Dan A. (Vicki) Bidlack of Van Wert and Steven J. (Angela E.) Bidlack of Payne; five grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
Three brothers, Marlin Newton, Maurice Clinton and Harold Bidlack, and a sister, Beulah Samantha Reynolds, also preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 17, at Zion United Methodist Church in Grover Hill, with the Rev. Dr. Paul Bunnell officiating. Burial will be in Middle Creek Cemetery in Grover Hill, with graveside military rites performed by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2873.
The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Friday, July 16, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert and an hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
Preferred memorials: Zion United Methodist Church or Community Health Professionals-Hospice.
LUELLA MAE McHUGH
Luella Mae McHugh, 90, of Ohio City, died at 12:25 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
She was born August 10, 1919, in Ohio City, the daughter of the late Halder Baugest and Roxie Marie (Clouse) Woods. On December 22, 1936, she married Thomas Sylvester McHugh Jr., who preceded her in death on November 14, 1977.
Survivors include three sons, James T. (Catherine) McHugh of Decatur, Ind., Richard A. (Marilyn) McHugh of Van Wert and Joseph L. McHugh of Ohio City; three sisters, Mary Tindall of San Francisco, Calif., Evelyn Kirchenbauer of Coldwater and Ilo Ebright of Celina; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
A son, Lloyd Russell McHugh; one daughter, Betty Lucille Asbell; four brothers, Charlie J. Woods, Elmer Woods, and Matthew and Eugene Woods (in childhood); a sister, Cora Blanche Phillips; and three grandchildren, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, July 16, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Pastor W. Clark Williman officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ohio City.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, July 15, at the funeral home.

NANCY L. WARDEN BACHMAN
Nancy L. Warden Bachman, 78, of Van Wert, died at 10:50 a.m. Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
She was born September 21, 1931, in Toledo, the daughter of the late Fred and Ruth (Hall) Fredritz. In 1947, she married Paul E. Warden, who preceded her in death in January 1996. In 1998, she married Don Bachman, who also preceded her in death in 2005.
Survivors include eight children, Paula J. (Donald) Welker of Columbus, Kathy (Dick) Fry, Becky (Jim) Butler and Michael (Julie Perkins) Warden, all of Van Wert, John (Peggy) Warden of Rowley, Mass., Tom (Amani) Warden of Tampa, Fla., Kim (Randy) Hoffhines of Sycamore, Ill., and Steven (Pamela) Warden of Grand Rapids, Mich.; a brother, Tom (Carol) Fredritz of Hawaii; one sister, Bonnie Guth of Michigan; 23 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
A brother, Bill Fredritz; one sister, Patricia Zientek; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 17, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with Pastor Glenn Turner officiating.
The family will receive friends from 9-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

CATHERN M. MILLER
Cathern M. Miller, 96, of Landeck, died at 2:15 a.m. Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at Sarah Jane Living Center in Delphos.
She was born November 26, 1913, in Ottoville, the daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Plescher) Perrin. She married Eugene Miller, who preceded her in death in 1996.
Survivors include a son, James (Esther) Miller of Spencerville; one daughter, Janet (Tom) Klaus of Landeck; a sister, Mary Grothous of Kentucky; and many grandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren.
A daughter, Eileen Penrod; five brothers, Arthur Perrin, Lester Perrin, Henry “Louis” Perrin, Ralph “Budd” Perrin and Leo Perrin; and two sisters, Martha Perrin Schnider and Josephine Shaw, also preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday, July 15, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, with Father Melvin Verhoff officiating. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in Landeck.
The family will receive friends from noon-3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, where a Catholic Ladies of Columbia service will be held immediately before the service.
