Elizabeth C. Parr, age 90 died Sunday, July 19, 2009
at the Gardens of Paulding, Paulding, Ohio.
She was born in Jackson Township on July 28, 1918 the daughter of Albert
H. and Alma (Harris) Conley. On July 17, 1938 she married Raymond P. Parr, who
preceded her in death on February 2, 1975. She was a member of Divine Mercy
Catholic Parish, Paulding, and was previously employed by the former Key
Corp/Society Bank of Paulding retiring in 1998.
She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Steel, Paulding, a brother, Robert
(Mary Ann) Conley, Little Rock, Arkansas; two sisters, Lowanda (Matthew)
Schulte, and Luella (Orville) Mullins, both of Van Wert, OH; three
grandchildren, Jamie, Cindy, and Michael; and seven great grandchildren, Eric,
Elizabeth, Lindsay, Bryant, Jason, Paul, and Jacqueline.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, Albert
Cletus and John Conley; and two sisters, Mildred Deane Maher and Mary Ann
Williamson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted 10 AM Thursday July 23 at Divine
Mercy Catholic Parish, Paulding with Rev. G. Allan Fillman officiating. Burial
will be in Live Oak Cemetery, Paulding.
Visitation will be 2 – 8 PM with a Wake Service at 7:30 PM Wednesday, July 22 at
Den Herder Funeral Home, and one hour prior to services on Thursday at the
church.
Donations may be made to The Gardens of Paulding; Divine Mercy Catholic Parish;
or donor’s choice.
