MARY VIRGINIA EBERSOLE
Mary Virginia Ebersole, 91, of Broadview Heights, died at 7:35 a.m. Thursday, July 8, 2010, at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
She was born May 18, 1919, in Cleveland, the daughter of the late Roy and Josephine (White) Barrett. She first married Jack Kelley, who preceded her in death. She then married Randy Ebersole, who also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Ebersole was a homemaker and former secretary for many years and worked in the cafeteria at Revere High School in Richfield. She was a member of Richfield United Church of Christ. She belonged to the Order of Eastern Star, volunteered at Broadview Heights Senior Citizens Center and for Friends of the Library and the Historical Society in Richfield.
Survivors include two children, Marilyn (Anthony) Alessandrini of Van Wert and Allan Kelley of Cleveland; three stepchildren, Carol Lindsey of Pickerington, Roy Ebersole of Rochester Hill, Mich., and Janet (John) Weaver of Kent; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A sister, Genevieve Richardson, also preceded her in death.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
There will be no visitation at this time.
Preferred memorials: Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.

MARY L. GERMANN
Mary L. Germann, 87, of Van Wert, died Thursday morning, July 8, 2010, at her residence.
She was born September 9, 1922, in Van Wert, the daughter of the late William L. and Beatrice (Reed) Poling. On January 26, 1946, she married Robert E. Germann, who preceded her in death on October 2, 1984.
Survivors include two children, Beth A. Smith and Gregory Charles (Joan) Germann, both of Van Wert; a sister, Linda (Frank) Poling Hoffman of Van Wert; two sisters-in-law, Lois Poling of Van Wert and Bernadette Poling of Ada; a brother-in-law, Joe Ross of Van Wert; and three grandchildren.
Three brothers, William R., Paul Richard and Charles D. Poling, and two sisters, Alice Good and Peggy Ross, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, July 16, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Mary Ann Tomlinson officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, July 15, and from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, July 16, at the funeral home.
Preferred memorials: Van Wert County 4-H or Brumback Library.
