DONNA B. HOBLET

Donna B. Hoblet, 86, of Van Wert, died at 8:20 a.m. Friday, June 18, 2010, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Van Wert.

She was born June 14, 1924, in Paulding County, the daughter of the late Dale and Faye A. (Cryer) Grant. On November 27, 1943, she married Burton B. Hoblet, who preceded her in death on February 17, 2004.

Survivors include four children, James (Becky) Hoblet of Mansfield and Brent Hoblet, Randy (Jan) Hoblet and Susan (Gary) Miller, all of Van Wert; a brother, Dean (Patty) Grant of Lafayette, Ind.; two sisters, Eunice (Mitch) Mitchell of Florida and Lucille (Robert) Muntzinger of Van Wert; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Three sisters, Mary Louise Grant, Janet Warner and Dorothy Yoder, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, June 21, at Convoy United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Greg Leigh officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Convoy.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, June 20, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert and an hour prior to services Monday at the church.

Preferred memorials: Convoy EMS or Convoy United Methodist Church.
