ELLA R. LEHMKUHLE

Ella R. Lehmkuhle, 85, of Delphos, died at 12:33 a.m. Tuesday, June 22, 2010, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.

She was born February 24, 1925, in Allen County, Ohio, the daughter of the late August and Theresa (Seffernick) Fuerst. She married Joseph Bohnlein and he preceded her in death on March 10, 1986. She then married Herman Lehmkuhle, who survives in Delphos.

Other survivors include three sons, Ronald (Cathy) Bohnlein of Scottsdale, Ariz., John (Jane) Bohnlein of Findlay and Mark Bohnlein of Van Wert; a daughter, Susan (Dean) Donald of Marietta, Ga.; one brother, Urban Fuerst of Delphos; a sister, Gussie (Edgar) Van Autreve of Delphos; six stepchildren, Tom (Sue) Lehmkuhle of Granville, Arlene (Tim) McCue of Toledo, Nora (Roger) Luersman of Kalida, Frank (Jane) Lehmkuhle of Delphos, Roger (Terri) Lehmkuhle of Bridgeport, W.Va., and George (Jenni) Lehmkuhle of Frostproof, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

A son, Paul Bohnlein (in infancy), three sisters, and a brother also preceded her in death.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, June 25, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery in Delphos.

The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, June 24, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, where a parish wake will be held at 7:30 that evening.
