ALICE I. PANCAKE

Alice I. Pancake, 92, of Van Wert, died at 6:26 a.m. Thursday, June 24, 2010, at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born July 31, 1917, in Van Wert County, the daughter of the late Grover C. and Vera P. (LaRue) Trego. On April 7, 1937, she married Harold V. Pancake, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include three children, Ronald V. (Deanna) Pancake of London (Ohio), Delores “Dee” (Frank) Densel of Convoy and Norma Jean Pancake of Olympia, Wash.; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 27, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Van Wert, with the Rev. Will Haggis officiating. Burial will be in Kings Church Cemetery in rural Van Wert County.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday, June 26, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert and an hour prior to services Sunday at the church.
