Virginia Ann (Jolly) Spry, 77, of Van Wert, died at 8:03 p.m. Monday, March 1, 2010, at Van Wert County Hospital in Van Wert.

She was born August 29, 1932, in Berne, Ind., the daughter of the late Leonard and Clara (Nagel) Jolly. On November 8, 1991, she married Donald Spry, who preceded her in death in 2006.

Survivors include two sons, Karl Strukamp of Van Wert and Kurt Strukamp of Madison, Ind.; three daughters, Victoria Kennedy of Wittenberg, Wis., Becky Strukamp of Sioux City, Iowa, and Tanya Haller of Van Wert; three sisters, Francis Fennig of Celina, Velma (Wendall) Washburn of Fort Meyers, Fla., and Bonnie (Richard) Resch of Richmond, Ind.; two sisters-in-law, Mary Jolly of Wapakoneta and Irene Jolly of Celina; two brothers-in-law, Wesley McGough of Hicksville and Jack (Norma) Spry of Van Wert; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; five stepchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Four brothers, Leonard Jolly, Allen Jolly, Vincent Jolly and Cecil Jolly; and two sisters, Violet Thompson and Rosie McGough, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 6, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Dillon Staas officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Convoy.

The family will receive friends from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
