He
was born December 5, 1937, in Omar, W.Va., the son of the late Jasper Carl and
Violet (Hicks) Clark. On July 25, 1959, he married Shirley A. (Rickard) Clark,
who survives in Ohio City.
CLARK
Bobbie J. Clark, 72, of rural Ohio City, died at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne, Ind.
He
was born December 5, 1937, in Omar, W.Va., the son of the late Jasper Carl and
Violet (Hicks) Clark. On July 25, 1959, he married Shirley A. (Rickard) Clark,
who survives in Ohio City.
Other survivors include four children, Teresa L. (John) Bienz of Mendon, Jeffrey A. (Trish) Clark of Erie, Pa., and Julia A. Clark and Christopher G. (Rhea) Clark, both of Sidney; three brothers, Jerry Clark of Mexico and Ernie Clark and Fred Hicks, both of California; a sister, Janice Gregg of Texas; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 3, at The Apostolic Church in Van Wert, with the Rev. Robert Frake officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ohio City, with gravesite military rites performed by American Legion Post 346 of Ohio City.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert and an hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
