CHERRY

Mary Catherine Cherry, 85, formerly of Convoy, died at 3:40 a.m. Saturday, March 6, 2010, at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born April 4, 1924, in Van Wert County, the daughter of the late Allen D. and Ilo (Colvin) Wherry. On November 30, 1946, she married Charles E. Cherry, who preceded her in death on November 12, 2007.

Survivors include a daughter, Deborah K. (Roger) Miller of Convoy; a grandson; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 10, at Convoy United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Gregory Leigh officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Convoy.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, and an hour prior to services Wednesday at the church.
