ROBEY
Franklin D. Robey, 73, of Van Wert, died at 5:26 p.m. Monday, May 10, 2010, at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind.
He was born September 13, 1936, in Van Wert County, the son of the late John F. and Ruby G. (Reinhard) Robey. He had formerly been married to Rosa Moreland of Auburn, Ind. Then, on May 31, 1981, he married Carol L. (Nutter) Robey, who preceded him in death on April 22, 1997. He then married Daomi (Davis) Robey on May 15, 1999, and she survives in Van Wert.
Other survivors include five children, Franklin Delano Robey Jr. of Butler, Ind., Steven Lee Robey of Ohio City, Gregory Scott (Rayma) Robey of Snellville, Ga., and Daniel Brian Robey and Theresa Dawn Robey, both of Garrett, Ind.; three stepchildren, Scott Roger Hartge of Columbus, Stephanie Lee (Bob) Riley of Jackson, Mich., and Amy Marie Axe of Van Wert; two brothers, John Robey Jr. of Van Wert and David Robey of Montgomery, Mich.; five sisters, Dorothy K. (Rex) Shaffer and Nancy I. Robey, both of Spencerville, Florence R. (Lowell) Nolan of Van Wert, Mary E. (Ray) Young of Venedocia and Carol A. (Darrel) Bowers of Lima; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Three brothers, William Q., Richard N. and Donald A. Robey, and a grandson, Nicholas Hartge, also preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 14, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Randy Bevington officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, May 13, at the funeral home.
Preferred memorials: Children’s Garden at Smiley Park-Van Wert City Parks Department.

TERRY L. DEVINE
Terry L. Devine, 70, of Frankfort, Ky., died unexpectedly at his home on Monday, May 10, 2010.
He was born December 6, 1939, in Van Wert, the son of the late Donald I. and Anita (Smith) Devine.
Survivors include a brother, Allan (Carol) Devine.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 29, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery near Middle Point.
The family will receive friends an hour prior to the memorial service at the funeral home.
Preferred memorials: Donor’s choice.
