LOWE

Xander Reed Lowe, 14 months, of Van Wert, died at 12:03 p.m. Thursday, November 26, 2009, at Van Wert County Hospital in Van Wert from complications of cystic fibrosis.

He was born September 14, 2008, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, the son of Ronald Herbert Lowe II and Jana Marie (Lape) Lowe, both of whom survive in Van Wert.

Survivors include a brother, Hunter Matthew Lowe, at home; one sister, Dakota Grace Lowe, at home; paternal grandfather, Ronald H. Lowe of Van Wert; maternal grandparents Kathleen Parker of Ohio City and David S. Lape of Van Wert; also many uncles, aunts, cousins and extended family.

A sister, Baylee Ann Marie Lowe, also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 2, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Pastor Steve Robinson officiating.

The family will receive friends from 9-11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

BURDEN

Richard Lee Burden, 59, of Van Wert, died Thursday evening, November 26, 2009, at his residence.

He was born July 1, 1950, in Lima, the son of Johnie Patrick, who survives in Van Wert, and the late Creaddle Ealine (Raines) Patrick. He never married.

Survivors include his aunt, Maggie Knittle of Van Wert, and many other aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 2, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Pastor Russell Lawrence officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery near Middle Point.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 1, at the funeral home.
