SINK

Robert E. Sink, 93, of Van Wert, died at 3:33 a.m. Monday, November 30, 2009, at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.

He was born May 4, 1916, in Van Wert, the son of the late Ralph and Opal (Ullam) Sink. On November 12, 1939, in Rockford, he married Nadine (Fox) Sink, who survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include a son, Tom (Nancy) Sink of Van Wert; one daughter, Joy (Homer) Kraner of Rockford; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

A brother, Elmer Sink; and two sisters, Helen Noggle-Thompson and Lois Adkins, also preceded him in death.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, December 2, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert.

Preferred memorials: Community Health Professionals-Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center or Family Caring Clinic in Van Wert.
