BOWERSOX

Lela Mae Bowersox, 81, of Haviland, died Thursday, October 1, 2009, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center in Van Wert.

She was born May 28, 1928, in Paulding County, the daughter of the late Frank and Nellie (Speakman) Rodman. On November 10, 1946, she married Donald M. Bowersox, who preceded her in death on March 2, 1986.

Survivors include two sons, Steve (Shirley) Bowersox of Haviland and Keith (Sue) Bowersox of Van Wert; a daughter, Melissa (Brad) Lintermoot of Venedocia; one sister, Ruth Kelly of Fort Wayne, Ind.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Three brothers, Harry, Howard and Leo Rodman; and five sisters, Thelma Baker, Alice Evans, Elouise Albright, Madeline Palte and Bernice Taner, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, October 5, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding, with the Rev. Rich Phelan officiating. Burial will be in Blue Creek Cemetery in Paulding County.

The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Sunday, October 4, and an hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home.
