HOAGLIN
LeRoy E. Hoaglin, 76, of Van Wert, died at 7:55 a.m. Tuesday, October 20, 2009, at Adams County Memorial Hospital in Decatur, Ind.
He was born December 15, 1932, in Van Wert County, the son of the late David Emery and Zelpha Agnes (Wolfcale) Hoaglin. On April 11, 1958, he married Janet L. (Fickert) Hoaglin, who survives in Van Wert.
Other survivors include two sons, David L. (Evelyn) Hoaglin of Convoy and Rodney E. (Karen) Hoaglin of Van Wert; a daughter, Vickie (Steve) Thatcher of Decatur; six grandchildren; a cousin; and one niece.
A sister, Beverly Fair, also preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 23, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Dr. Timothy Burden officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Convoy.
The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, October 22, and an hour prior to services on Friday.

FRALEY
Alta Fraley, 85, of Payne, died Tuesday, October 20, 2009, at her residence.
She was born June 7, 1924, in Greenup, Ky., the daughter of the late George and Nellie Hall. In 1944, she married Richard R. Fraley, who preceded her in death on January 6, 1989.
Survivors include five sons, Richard (Jean) Fraley of Antwerp, Arnold (Sue Ann) Fraley of Fort Wayne, Ind., David Fraley and David Fraley, both of Payne, and Dan (Veronica) Fraley of Paulding; four daughters, Gertrude (Donald) Elston, Diana Butler and LuVern Dullhaghan, all of Payne, and Edie (Timothy) Schlosser of Temperance, Mich.; 32 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
A son, Calvin Fraley; one daughter, Ruby Fay Fraley; and a granddaughter, Susan Elston, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 22, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding, with the Rev. Burnell Hammons officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery in Paulding.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 21, and an hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home.
Preferred memorials: Blind Center of Toledo, Breast Cancer Society or Paulding County Home Health Care and Hospice.
