Sandra L. Closson, 68, of Van Wert, died at
12:14 a.m. Thursday, October 22, 2009, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice
Cent
er in Van Wert.
She was born August 20, 1941, in Lima, the daughter of the late Alfred and Celesta (Bentley) Dunn. She married Larry R. Closson, who survives in Van Wert.
Mrs. Closson was a homemaker and enjoyed being with her grandchildren, watching movies and her pets.
In addition to her husband, survivors include a son, Anthony (Sarah) Closson of Wapakoneta; one daughter, Trudy (Daniel) Cherok of Columbus; two sisters, Prudy Philips of Deshler and Chris (Greg) Hardesty of Uniopolis; a brother, Gary (Vickey) Dunn of Van Buren; and seven grandchildren, Zachary, Joseph, Elizabeth, Emma and Penelope Closson and Lucia and Julian Cherok.
A celebration of her life will be held at a date and place to be announced.
There will be no calling hours at this time.
Preferred memorials: Community Health Professionals-Hospice the Caring Way in Van Wert and the Van Wert Manor Activity Fund.

McCLOUD
Joyce Sue McCloud, 63, of Paulding, died Thursday, October 22, 2009, at her residence.
She was born August 18, 1946, in Harts, W.Va., the daughter of the late Ercel and Gracie (Meeks) Workman. On January 22, 1966, she married Raymond McCloud, who survives.
Other survivors include a son, Darrin (Julie) McCloud of Cecil; one daughter, Elaine (Josh) Carlisle of Paulding; four grandchildren; and many special friends and family members.
A son, Craig McCloud; four brothers, Clyde Meeks and Tracy, Hanford and Cordell Workman; and two sisters, Jane Browning and Millie Dalton, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, October 26, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding, with Pastor Pat Holt officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery in Paulding.
The family will receive friends from 2-9 p.m. Sunday, October 25, and an hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home.
