MORRISON
Mildred Lucille Morrison, 80, of Van Wert, died at 6:30 a.m. Saturday, October 24, 2009, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center in Van Wert.
She was born February 1, 1929, in Antwerp, the daughter of the late Claude and Ada (Koroff) Tracy. On September 2, 1949, she married Homer W. Morrison, who preceded her in death on July 2, 2007.
Survivors include three children, Larry (Patsy) Morrison of Delphos, Randy (Debra) Morrison of Toledo and Carol Morrison of Van Wert; a brother, Robert (Betty) Tracy of Grover Hill; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
A son-in-law, Jerry Kadykowski; and five sisters, Elberta Ours, Inez Lawther, Wilma Bish, Beatrice Le Monds and Lois Thrasher, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 28, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Middle Creek Cemetery in Grover Hill.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 27, and an hour prior to services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial: Community Health Professionals’ Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

Stanley Ray Goings Sr., 60, of Paulding, died Saturday, October 24, 2009, at Bryan Health Care and Rehab Center.
He was born October 12, 1949, in Paulding County, the son of the late Ray and Mary E. (Miles) Goings.
Survivors include a son, Stanley Ray Goings Jr. of Paulding; one daughter Regina R. (Steven) Herzig of Flower Mound, Texas; five brothers, Michael (Mary) Goings of Bluffton, Kenneth Goings of Columbus; Steve Goings of Van Wert; and Harold (Tracy) Goings and Miles Goings, both of Paulding; three sisters, Kathryn (Elijah) McDonald of Mansfield, Judy (Alan) Stevens of Terra Haute, Ind., and Carol Goings of Columbus; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 31, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding, with Cornelius Hill officiating. Burial will be in Middle Creek Zion Baptist Cemetery in Grover Hill.
The family will receive friends an hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.

FIGLEY
Sandra J. Figley, 53, of Van Wert, died at 8 a.m. Saturday, October 24, 2009, in her home.
She was born May 27, 1956, in Van Wert, the daughter of Frank B. Hoffman and Arlene Hoffman, both of whom survive in Van Wert. On May 1, 1981, she married Keith L. Figley, who also survives.
Mrs. Figley was a homemaker and had worked in the office at Aeroquip in Van Wert.
Also surviving is a stepmother, Linda Hoffman of Van Wert; two sons, Joshua (Amy) Fabian of Montrose, Colo., and Timothy “T.J.” (Sumer) Figley of Van Wert; a daughter, Sherry Fabian of Convoy; a stepson, Dustin (Julie) Figley of Va Wert; a stepdaughter, Lori Andrews of Geneva, Ind.; two brothers, Frank W. (Barbara) Hoffman of Van Wert and Rodger (Cathy) Hoffman of Little Torch, Fla.; two sisters, Teresa Klahn of Loveland, Colo., and Lori (Rocky) McVaigh of Van Wert; five grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; and her father-in-law, LeDoyle “Farmer” Figley of Rockford.
Private family services will be conducted at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Van Wert, with the Rev. Will Haggis officiating.
No public visitation is planned.
Preferred memorial: Community Health Professionals Visiting Nurses and Hospice in Van Wert.
