FRIEDRICH

John J. Friedrich, 74, of Delphos, died at 2:38 a.m. Wednesday, September 23, 2009, at his residence.

He was born January 3, 1935, in Delphos, the son of the late Carl and Marie (Heitz) Friedrich. On May 9, 1959, he married Janelle (Kroeger) Friedrich, who survives in Delphos.

Other survivors include three sons, Paul Richard (Amy Ross) Friedrich, James Edwin (Diane) Friedrich and Robert Joseph (Jamie) Friedrich, all of Delphos; two daughters, Carolyn Marie (Rob) Stant of Delphos and Judy Louise (Aaron) Shouey of Saginaw, Mich.; and 12 grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, September 26, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos, with Father Melvin Verhoff officiating. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery in Delphos.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, September 24, at from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, September 25, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, where a parish wake will be held at 7:30 Friday evening.
