ELLERBROCK
Ursula “Sue” Ellerbrock, 83, of Lima and formerly of Van Wert, died at 6:20 a.m. Sunday, September 27, 2009, at Ridge at Shawnee Nursing Home in Lima.
She was born May 31, 1925, in Wuppertal,
German
y, the daughter of the late Philip and Helene (Winter) Schuck. In1959, she
married Robert Ellerbrock, who preceded her in death on September 2, 1987.
Mrs. Ellerbrock was an employee of the former Aeroquip Corporation, from which she retired after 25 years of service. She attended Calvary Evangelical Church and was a member of the Van Wert Woman’s Club, Van Wert County Hospital Twig I group and the Ohio Republican Party. In 1990, she started the Aeroquip Retired Ladies Club and she was also a member of the Women’s German Club and served on the YWCA Adult Committee.
Survivors include a daughter, Sonja (Jeff) Heistan of Lima; three granddaughters, Amber, Paige and Kinsey Heistan; her stepmother, Margaret Schuck of Germany; and two half-brothers, Manfred and Hans Rolf-Schuck of Germany.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 1, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, September 30, at the funeral home.

ROSS
Wilda Snyder Ross, 93, of Paulding, died Sunday, September 27, 2009, at her residence.
She was born June 13, 1916, in Williams County, the daughter of the late O.A. and Martha (Koeppe) Snyder. On April 6, 1938, she married Rolland H. Ross, who preceded her in death on August 9, 1993.
Survivors include three children, Marcia (Morrie) Brune and Linda (Bill Baxter) Reinhart, both of Paulding, and Lanny Ross of Coconut Creek, Fla.; two grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A brother, Gerald Snyder, and two sisters, Pauline Gowdy and Helen Lehman, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, October 2, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery in Paulding.
The family will receive friends from 2:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, October 1, with an Order of Eastern Star memorial service at 7:30 that evening, and an hour prior to services, all at the funeral home.
