Thursday, March 11
9 a.m.-7 p.m. -- Challenged Higher Clubhouse, 407 N. Franklin St., will be open to the public.
10 a.m. -- Between You and Me Support Group meets for victims of domestic violence and abuse (special hours can be arranged; call the Crisis Care Line at 419.238.4357).
Noon -- Van Wert Optimist Club will meet
at Willow Bend Country Club, 579 Hospital Drive.
6 p.m. -- Weight Watchers will conduct a weigh-in at
Trinity United Methodist Church, corner of Walnut and Crawford
streets, followed by a meeting at 6:30 p.m.
Monday, March 15
9 a.m.-7 p.m. -- Challenged Higher Clubhouse, 407 N. Franklin St., will be open to the public.
7 p.m. -- National Alliance on Mental Illness of Van Wert, Mercer and Paulding Counties will meet at the Drop-In Center located at 407 N. Franklin, Van Wert. Public is invited. DVD entitled "Minds on the Edge: Facing Mental illness" will be shared. Call 419.238.2413 or 800.541.NAMI.
Friday, March 19
9 a.m.-7 p.m. -- Challenged Higher Clubhouse, 407 N. Franklin St., will be open to the public.
10 a.m.-4 p.m. -- Bloodmobile will be held at Wesley UM Church, 551 Center St., Van Wert, in the social room. Prospective donors must be at least age 17 (16 with parental consent), weigh a minimum of 110 pounds, and be in good general health. Bring a positive form of ID (Donor Card or driver's license). Saturday, March 20
5-7 p.m. -- Chili Supper and Concert will be held in the social room at Wesley United Methodist Church, 551 Center St., Van Wert. Concert by "In Harmony." Freewill offering accepted. Sponsored by Wesley Men's Club. This event was originally scheduled for last month, but was rescheduled due to weather conditions.
