On the morning of Thursday, August 20, at 7:04 a.m., an unknown assailant broke into a residence at Gordon's Trailer Court on Kear Road by forcing a door open on the mobile home. Once inside, the suspect assaulted the homeowner, causing injury to the victim, and stole a portable home safe. The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6-foot tall, weighing around 225 pounds, with brown hair. If you have any information about this crime, call Crime Stoppers at 419.238.STOP (7867). You will not have to give your name or reveal your identity. If your information helps to solve this case, Crime Stoppers will pay you a cash reward of up to $1,000. Criminal Cases       

    Rodney O. Brown of Convoy -- Domestic Violence; pleaded guilty; fined $150 and costs; 120 days in jail, 116 days suspended. Special Conditions:  Defendant must have weekly contact to an alcohol counselor for no less than four months and may not have any contact with any victim for ten days.  After the ten days he may have contact if not consuming alcohol.  Defendant must comply with any other court order.  Two days in jail beginning 11/30/09 at 8 a.m.

Traffic Cases  

   Tyler W. Dunham of Haviland -- Reckless Operation / DISR SA -- pleaded not guilty; fined $250 and costs; 30 days in jail suspended. Special Conditions:  Defendant must have no violations for any drug or alcohol charges of any type.
